Its a fun game to play, and for me I had no problem learning the controls. The graphics are fine and it doesn’t ever crash. Its realy cheap compared to most games on Itunes also which is a plus. So for the price the game is a great buy and I highly recomend it. My only issue with the game is that it is extreamly repetitive, so it does get very boring after a while.

This game is a blast to play and is easily the best World War II era fighter plane game on the market! The price is reasonable as well. As far as further game development goes I would like to see some more campaigns and missions as well as some more aircraft. Two aircraft that are surprisingly missing from the game are the American Douglas SBD Dauntless dive bomber and American Grumman TBF/TBM Avenger torpedo bomber. Both of these aircraft were essential to the U.S. Navy’s effort in the Pacific Theater and I am surprised that they have not been added yet. (Some other aircraft would be the P-61 Black Widow, the Hawker Typhoon, the Bristol Beaufighter, the Kawasaki Ki-61, or the Nakajima B6N) As far as gameplay goes I would have to aggree with the post by Scout19D19D. The P-47 is really too much like the P-51 which is not historically accurate at all. Although it was good, it still wasn’t as good as a P-51. It’s best roll was close air support, so this plane should replace the Corsair in the “Tank Buster” Mission (the Corsair was never a part of the European Theater of operations anyway). Having the ability to customize more of the aircraft’s ability would be great as well! The game really is good and the graffics of course are impresive to say the least. My comments are more “details” to be tweeked to make it better. Thank you to the developers for their ingenuity and hard work!

I would have to say the best game i have ever played on my mac ever!! But some of the dog fights have been a little un fair at times but it all depends on the type of plane you use. Otherwise it is an awesome game.

This game gives us an insight on what the world was like back in the early 40s and within the midst of WW2. These stunning planes, lands, oceans and many more things like that makes you feel like you really are one of the pilots! If you’re bad at flying you can be the co-pilot and just shoot enemy planes down. You can buy packs, planes, weapon hangers and other similarities like that for a dollar or two. This application is definitely worth $4.99. In fact, I wouldn’t be surpirsed if it was $9.99 or $19.99. If you love planes, shooting things or interested in war you should definitely buy this game. With responsive controls you wont be looking up how-to tutorials or anything like that. I didn’t even do the in-game tutorial and already knew the controls with a guess or two. Choose your plane. Battle in team deathmatches and multiplayer matches and much more! This is my new favourite game.

The game is amazing, fun game to play when you’re bored. Great gameplay, just needs a longer campaign with a better plot.

For the money, this game is worth twice as much. I came from a Flight Simulator world flying precision and meticulous. This game opens all that up. I found fun in this game and also learned how those flight techniques incorporate with this. The trick is to learn yaw / roll / pitch and that will give you the advantage in the fights. I use a Saitek X52 flight controller. It has a thrust controller and joystick. When you download and start the game, go into the settings and switch everything to joystick control Then you will have to program the buttons. When you’re in settings, double click the control, then click or move the joystick or thrust controller to set the command. It took me awhile to figure out how to program. But set it, do a free flight to test left right, up down. Then run back to settings to adjust accordingly. Then do a free flight, fly around, test flying between ships, under bridges, over mountains, climb to the sun, then dive with the fishes. Take off and Landing is simple. Keep your speed higher than stall speed and touchdown. You come to an abrupt stop. No extra drivers are needed for running on Mac OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan on my iMac with the joystick controller. Great game, fantastic challenges and once your joystick is programmed, you will enjoy it so much more.

Controls are not at all accurate. Just the opposite of flying. Cannot set up properly with joystick. Save your money. Not worth it.

I love this game. I keep coming back to it again and again. I play using a controller which was very easy to setup. Playing both sides in the campaigns is second only to the free for all that are the online matches. I love this game!

The game has a nice variety of planes which perform fairly close to what the originals did. The App does not connect with Game Center on my MacBook, but it’s nevertheless a fun game Ill spend many long hours with.

I’ve been playing this app for 2 months. And today it just simply does not open. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, restarting the computer and nothing. Booo!

Excellent game….have been playing for over a year with no problems. Now it has trouble loading and must wait quite some time for it to load…then to shut it off is not good either…often must force quit. I have added nothing…no hardware nor any new software. Have trashed the original program thinking it got corrupted somehow and reloaded / downloaded new program to no avail. Hope AtyipicAl can resolve this and keep it a great and 5 star.

Great gameplay but the servers are CONSTANTLY kicking players out mid-game. Very hard to get in sometimes and then after a few minutes of gaming it just starts kicking people out. You can see other players just disappear from the game and then return in a foul mood complaining they didn’t leave but were dropped. FIX YOUR SERVERS. This has been going on since the game was released. A bad, bad, bad problem.
